Presenter Guidelines

All accepted papers, abstracts, posters, and e-posters must be presented during the 4th International Conference on Sustainable Innovations and Partnerships (SIP 2027). Presenters may participate onsite or online, depending on their registration type and presentation format.

Presentation Requirement

All accepted contributions must be presented through one of the approved SIP 2027 presentation formats. Presenters should select the format that best matches their participation plan and technical readiness.

  • Onsite oral presentation: Present the research in person at the conference venue during an assigned technical session. Presenters should deliver the main findings clearly and be prepared for audience questions.
  • Onsite poster presentation: Present the research through a poster at the venue. Poster presenters are encouraged to prepare a digital copy to support discussion with online participants.
  • Online oral presentation: Present the research remotely through the conference online platform. This option supports participation for presenters who cannot travel to Vancouver.
  • Virtual poster or e-poster presentation: Submit a digital poster for online display. Presenters should be available during the assigned discussion period for questions and interaction.

Presentation Template

A professional SIP 2027 presentation template may be provided to help presenters prepare clear and consistent slides. Use of the template is optional, and presenters may use their own institutional or professional slide design.

  • Optional use: The template is provided to support a consistent and polished presentation style.
  • License terms: The template may only be used in connection with SIP 2027 presentation activities.
  • The template may not be redistributed, resold, or used for unrelated personal, institutional, or commercial projects.
  • The template may not be used in on-demand services, merchandising, or broadcast presentations outside the SIP 2027 context.

Preparation Tips

Presenters should prepare their slides, posters, or e-posters carefully before the conference. A clear presentation improves audience understanding and supports effective academic discussion.

  • Practice: Rehearse the presentation several times to ensure clear delivery within the assigned time.
  • Engage the audience: Use focused slides, clear examples, and concise explanations to support discussion.
  • Check technical setup: Test the presentation file, laptop, internet connection, microphone, camera, and screen-sharing tools before the session.
  • Use clear visuals: Avoid overcrowded slides. Use readable fonts, simple figures, and well-labeled tables.
  • Prepare for questions: Anticipate likely questions about the method, data, results, limitations, and practical implications.

Q&A Sessions

Each oral presentation may be followed by a question-and-answer session. Presenters should respond clearly and concisely. Poster and e-poster presenters should be available during the assigned discussion period to explain their work and answer questions from attendees.

Onsite Presentation Guidance

  • Arrive at the session room before the session begins.
  • Bring the final presentation file on a USB drive and, where possible, keep a backup copy online.
  • Check with the session chair before the presentation starts.
  • Respect the assigned presentation time to keep the program on schedule.
  • Use professional academic language and avoid promotional or non-academic content.

Online Presentation Guidance

  • Join the online session before the scheduled start time.
  • Use a stable internet connection and a quiet environment.
  • Test microphone, camera, and screen sharing before the session.
  • Keep the presentation file open and ready before being invited to present.
