Event Schedule

The conference is scheduled for March 18–19, 2027, with in-person and virtual participation formats. Final session times and delivery modes are published through the official conference program.

Venue Arrangements

Organizer records document venue arrangements under AMS event reference E28278 for Kingsmill Forum at the AMS Nest on the UBC Vancouver campus for the in-person program on March 18, 2027. Final status and services remain governed by the applicable AMS agreement and written amendments.

International Participants

SIP 2027 has been registered through the applicable Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada special-events process. The confidential Special Event Code is provided only to eligible confirmed registrants and is not published on the website.

Independent-event clarification: REPA LLC is the conference organizer. The use of facilities on the UBC Vancouver campus and references to AMS, UBC, IRCC, publishers, speakers, committee members, or service providers do not by themselves establish sponsorship, institutional administration, accreditation, endorsement, partnership, or a guarantee by those parties.

Visa and entry notice: Registration, an invitation letter, a Special Event Code, participant reporting, or any other conference document does not guarantee visa approval, expedited processing, electronic travel authorization, admission to Canada, or a favorable decision by IRCC, a visa office, the Canada Border Services Agency, or another authority. Each applicant remains responsible for submitting complete and truthful information and satisfying all applicable requirements.

International Participant Reporting and Privacy

Where applicable, confirmed visa-required participants may be asked to provide limited information for the organizer's participant-reporting obligations. The requested information may include the participant's full name as shown on the travel document, passport country of issuance, and IRCC visa application number.

  • The information is used for conference administration, registration verification, fraud prevention, and event-related coordination with IRCC where authorized.
  • Participants must provide accurate information and promptly report corrections, withdrawal, unauthorized payment, or suspected misuse of an invitation document.
  • Do not send passwords, payment-card details, banking credentials, biometric data, or unnecessary passport images through ordinary email.
  • The Special Event Code must not be published, advertised, or shared with unregistered persons.

Collection, use, disclosure, retention, correction, and safeguarding of participant information are governed by the SIP 2027 Privacy Policy, applicable law, and the organizer's operational requirements.

For an auditable response, verification requests should be submitted in writing and should identify the requester, institution, purpose, participant or submission reference, and the specific information requiring confirmation.

Institutional and Third-Party Verification

Institutions, employers, sponsors, government authorities, auditors, and other authorized parties may request additional verification. Because source records may contain personal, contractual, financial, security-sensitive, or third-party-protected information, the organizer may provide a direct confirmation, controlled summary, redacted copy, watermarked record, or requester-specific letter rather than an unrestricted source document.
